I used to pass such a boat berthed across a yard on my way to work many years ago. I was amazed to see such a thing in the west end of the San Fernando Valley and fascinated by the slow and steady progress being made on it until one day I passed by and the boat was gone and the house had a For Sale sign stuck in the mud. I don’t know what happened but I like to think the owner sailed off for a new life. Thanks, Rich!
