What I love about this piece and so much of your poetry is that to even begin to create it, you need to be fully present in the world, noticing, observing, listening, reflecting and retaining that which you see and experience around you.
You do know how to make a guy feel good, Sharon!!! Thank you so much for the feedback and for taking the time to sink into this stuff. It means a lot to me!
Awesome work, my dear. I'm so glad you listened to that voice in your head and followed it. You were clearly meant to write poetry. Along with all your other stuff, but I can hear this calling to you. And to your readers.
Thanks Janet! I really appreciate you sinking in and spending some time with my writing. As you know very well, hearing back from folks who take the time to read what you've written means a lot to us. So, again, thank you!
Thanks David. Funny how little things can leave such a big impression. One of the columnists for The San Francisco Chronicle recently wrote the sentence: 'The magic of the mundane.' I think that line sums it all up so nicely!!!
Thank you, Rich, for showing us that a creative moment can arrive at any time, and if you don’t pay attention, it just as easily disappears.
Come on autumn! Lovely piece.

And now me too, noticing. Thank you!
Isn't life-altering how just noticing changes everything?
Wonderful how you captured this moment. That feeling of a change.
