Gray Days
It sits like a cat in a winter window.
It's gray again, and again, and again, muffling today much like yesterday, much like fresh snow, lying wet and heavy on everything, slowing the tempo and stripping away any urgency.
It dulls the day, this June gloom, muting colors and reducing vibrancy, converting all to a washed out black and white snapshot, flat and melancholy. It erases the difference between sky and bay, hiding the horizon behind a murky smear of charcoal and faded beige, a thin ribbon of light fighting to break through. It sits like a cat in a winter window, staring at us, motionless, slowly dissipating, saving more of the same for tomorrow.

Beauty from grey...
Thanks for bringing some light to all this gray :)
